How to enable PHP LDAP module / extension in XAMP

Before proceeding,do check whether LDAP module is enabled by default or not, you can verify the same using phpinfo.php page.

To check create the a php file within htdocs folder as phpinfo.php

create a notepad file and rename it as phpinfo.php

paste the below mentioned code into it and save it into htdocs folder

Open the browser and hit, https://localhost/phpinfo.php

If you find the below mentioned screenshot, Well !!! you don't need to do anything PHP_LDAP module is already enabled within your XAMP server.

Now, if you can't find anything like that just follow the steps.

Change directory to C : -- xampp -- php

Find and Copy the listed files

libeay32.dll
libsasl.dll
ssleay32.dll

Copy into C:\Windows\System32

Now again toggle / change directory into C : --> xampp --> php
Find and open file named php.ini
Again find and UnComment the below mentioned line to enable it.

;extension=php_ldap.dll

and make it look like the below screenshot by removing the ;

to look it as extension=php_ldap.dll

Now restart Apache from XAMP control pannel

Solution:-

Copy the user lotus id and database from lotus folder

C:\Documents and Settings\user ID\Local Settings\Application Data\lotus\Notes\Data\desktop6.ndk
C:\Documents and Settings\user ID \Application Data\lotus\Notes\userid.id

delete the other all files

When you run lotus then lotus creates all file again then replace the user id and database file C:\Documents and Settings\user ID\Local Settings\Application Data\lotus\Notes\Data\desktop6.ndk

Solution

Microsoft recommends that you use the Clear Cache method. To do this, follow these steps:

On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Other tab.
Click Advanced Options.
In the Advanced Options box, click Custom Forms.
In the Custom Forms box, click Manage Forms.
In the Forms Manager box, click Clear Cache.

Office Communicator 2007 R2 is not opening after clicking on that, only glass bar icon comes and goes off.

Problem:-Office Communicator 2007 R2 is not opening after clicking on that, only glass bar icon comes and goes off.

Cause:-Normally this problem comes when COM+ Event System Service is not started or problem with msxml.

Resoultion:-1) Start the COM+ Event System Service manually.

2) Re-register msxml files in following sequence.

regsvr32 msxml2.dll

regsvr32 msxml3.dll

regsvr32 msxml4.dll

regsvr32 msxml6.dll

Reboot the system, reset the local profile of the user

Give temporary admin rights to the user and then ask him to login.

That’s it, now launch the communicator from it shortcut.

Problem: MS Word is opening in Safe Mode only

Reason: Normal.dot file is corrupted

Steps:

Close all applications
Search for the file Normal.dot in user’s profile. (search hidden and system folder’s as well)
Delete the Normal.dot files
Reopen the word.

Outlook Calendar Error : Can’t open this item. The object couldn’t be found.

Reason: Outlook uses forms for everything. Sometimes these get corrupt and need to be rebuilt.

Resolution:

Close outlook
Open the user’s profile c:\documents and settings\<user ID>
search for the “FRMCACHE.DAT” (Choose to search hidden and system files options as well)
From the search results, delete the file FRMCACHE.DAT
Restart outlook

Fixed !!! Error: in PDF Creator, Cannot find gsdll32.dll. Please check the ghostscript-program directory (see options)!

Cause: In the printer settings, user has specified the directory that does not exist.

Steps:

Once the error comes, click on Ok.
Choose the first menu (Probably file) and choose options.
Look for the options where we can set the directories.
Give the path of C:\data\common
Now give the print again for PDF.

Steps:

Uninstall the old version from Add Remove programs.
Install PDF printer from SIM
Give the following command

msiexec /fvamus {6C332A97-5F3C-419F-AD60-A01B227E4745} /qb! /Lv* c:\winnt\catpc\log\OF0200736-repair.log

4. Reboot the PC.

1. change the version of the file (rename the file and copy from some other machine)

o resolve this, download AutoRuns and save it to your Desktop.

Create a new folder on your hard drive called AutoRuns (C:\AutoRuns) and extract (unzip) the file there.
Open the folder and double-click on autoruns.exe to launch it.
Vista/Windows 7/8 users right-click and select Run As Administrator.
Please be patient as it scans and populates the entries.
When finished scanning, it will say Ready at the at the bottom and list all entries under the Everything tab.
In the top menu, click File > Find... and type the file name (backgroundcontainer.dll) related to the error message, then click Find Next.
Alternatively, you can scroll through the list and look for any entry related to backgroundcontainer.dll and conduit.
If found, right-click on the entry and choose delete.
Exit Autoruns and reboot your computer when done.

An alternate method to resolve this issue is as follows:
1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools.
2. Open Task Scheduler and click on Task Scheduler Library.
3. Look through the list for an entry related to BackgroundContainer.
4. If found, right-click on it and select Delete.
5. Exit all programs and reboot the computer when done.

Afterwards, please download and scan with the following tools which will search for and remove many unwanted programs (PUPs), adware, toolbars, browser hijackers, extensions, add-ons and other junkware as well as related registry entries.

How to Uninstall or Remove an Application from Cmd (Command prompt)

Sometimes while trying to remove an application or programme from Control Panel fails even using Strong un-installer softwares like REVON UNINSTALLER also fails then in that circumstances try to remove the application through command prompt(CMD)

Follow these steps to Remove program using command Prompt

Open a command prompt.
Input WMIC and press ENTER

Now you will see a prompt like this wmic:root\cli>

Now type product get name and then press Enter .
Wait few seconds to minutes then
It will Generate list of Installed Program .

At the prompt, execute the following command:

Product where name="Program name" call uninstall

For example, if I were wanting to uninstall Adobe Reader 9, my command would look like this

product where name="Adobe Reader 9" call uninstall

When prompted, input y to confirm that you wish to uninstall the application and press Enter

The application will be un-installed

To work around this issue, uninstall Microsoft Office Click-to-Run and then install the 64-bit version of Microsoft Office.

To determine whether you have Microsoft Office Click-to-Run installed on your computer, click the File tab and then click Help. If you see a Click-to-Run Product Updates section, then Click-to-Run is installed on your computer.

To uninstall Microsoft Office Click-to-Run from your computer, follow these steps:

Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
Click the Add or Remove Programs item or click the Programs and Features item.
In the list of installed programs, click Microsoft Office Click-to-Run (2010 or 2013) and then click Uninstall.
Click Yes when you are prompted to remove all applications that were installed by Office Click-to-Run.

Windows Essentials comes with two programs “Windows Live Mail” and “Windows Live Writer”

My clients PC and Windows Live mail was working fine until 12th September 2013, from when she was unable to open any such attachments from mail or from her Writer program and was prompted to purchase a copy of Microsoft Office.

We solved the problem on her computer by finding a document with .doc or .docx and right-clicking it, selecting “open with” and then “default program” and “Microsoft Office Client Virtualization Handler” and repeated this on the .doc and .docx files.
For picture or image file give a Right CLICK -->
OPEN WITH --> DEFAULT PROGRM-->
WINDOWS PICTURE VIEWER OR ANY DIFFRENT LIKE PAINT OR OTHER.

From then on she could open the files on her desktop using the “Windows Live Writer” program installed.
