GENEXIS Router - Platinum 4410 || Hathway Router Default ID and Password.

One of the leading broadband connection provider in india, and yes after shifting to my new flat with with my flatmates, i found hathway connection there too.

At some point in time, in order to change some default setting of GENEXIS router shipped with the new connection of hathway broadband, i was looking for default ID and Password, so after googling a lot i found it, if you are looking for it too, you are at right blog post.

Default Router IP : 192.168.1.1

Default ID and Password depends on Router/Device Model number, for model/device number look into the back side of router.

For Genexis Router Device Model - Platinum 4410.

Default user is "admin".

Default Password is MAC Address of the device, which you can find on the back side of router.

For password look into back side of router the string after word "MAC" is your default password for that router.

For other device do use the following combinations.

User --> admin

password --> admin

User --> admin

password --> password

User --> admin

password --> 1234

User --> admin

password --> use mac address written on back side of router.

How to Fix Run DLL error message/background container.dll without using any software

 

Are you Getting any popups like c:\users\ed\appData\local\conduit\backgroundco container\background container.dll,  then you are not supposed to worry anymore.. here is the 100% fix trick.

 Follow the Steps.

o resolve this, download AutoRuns and save it to your Desktop.

• Create a new folder on your hard drive called AutoRuns (C:\AutoRuns) and extract (unzip) the file there.
• Open the folder and double-click on autoruns.exe to launch it.
• Vista/Windows 7/8 users right-click and select Run As Administrator.
  
• Please be patient as it scans and populates the entries.
• When finished scanning, it will say Ready at the at the bottom and list all entries under the Everything tab.
• In the top menu, click File > Find... and type the file name (backgroundcontainer.dll) related to the error message, then click Find Next.
• Alternatively, you can scroll through the list and look for any entry related to backgroundcontainer.dll and conduit.
• If found, right-click on the entry and choose delete.
• Exit Autoruns and reboot your computer when done.

An alternate method to resolve this issue is as follows:
1. Go to Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools.
2. Open Task Scheduler and click on Task Scheduler Library.
3. Look through the list for an entry related to BackgroundContainer.
4. If found, right-click on it and select Delete.
5. Exit all programs and reboot the computer when done.

Afterwards, please download and scan with the following tools which will search for and remove many unwanted programs (PUPs), adware, toolbars, browser hijackers, extensions, add-ons and other junkware as well as related registry entries.

How to Uninstall or Remove an Application from Cmd (Command prompt)

Sometimes while trying to remove an application or programme from Control Panel fails even using Strong un-installer softwares like REVON UNINSTALLER also fails then in that circumstances try to remove the application through command prompt(CMD)

Follow these steps to Remove program using command Prompt 

• Open a command prompt.
• Input WMIC and press ENTER

          Now you will see a prompt like this            wmic:root\cli>        

• Now type product get name and then press Enter .
• Wait few seconds to minutes then
•  It will Generate list of Installed Program . 

• At the prompt, execute the following command:

        Product where name="Program name" call uninstall

• For example, if I were wanting to uninstall Adobe Reader 9, my command would look like this 

          product where name="Adobe Reader 9" call uninstall                

• When prompted, input y to confirm that you wish to uninstall the application and press Enter

        The application will be un-installed
