How to recover passwd and shadow file , incase both get deleted by mistake.

So here is the procedure to recover.

1. Login to your system in single user mode.
2. on terminal run the command as
3. cp /etc/passwd/~ /etc/passwd
4. cp /etc/shadow/~ /etc/shadow

Thats enough, you have recovered the files as linux by default takes the backup of these two files.
